A world class badminton and squash facility , was inaugurated by Padma Bhushan Mr. Pullela Gopichand,recipient of the prestigious Arjuna and Dronacharya Awards and presently the Chief National Coach for the Indian Badminton team along with Padma Sri Miss P.V.Sindhu, the first Indian woman to win an Olympic silver medal, in the presence of hundreds of exhilrated fans.
This beautifully crafted sports complex, perfectly in sync with the aesthetics of the stadium, boasts of two badminton courts and two squash courts of International Standards along with Table Tennis facility .
The enthusiasm of sports lovers was more than evident from the unprecedented participation in Badminton in the recently organized Summer Camp . People in all age groups can be seen gleefully indulging in Badminton and other sports activities in the recently inaugurated Racquets.
